At the congress in Athens the following seven resolutions were declared,''called a''restoration Charter (Carta del Restauro).

1. Need to establish international organizations at the level of restoration and consulting operations.

2. The project is expected to be restored through the intelligent criticism to avoid the mistakes that can cause loss of valuable features and history of architecture.

3. The problem of preserving historic sites must be resolved according to law at the national level for every country.

4. The archaeological excavations that were not restored immediately, they must fill to protect.

5. Techniques and modern materials can be used in the restoration.

6. The historical sites should be protected by a system of strict protection.

7. The protection of surrounding areas only history should be particularly noted.
